Christie Bonham is a first time author who recently published her memoir “Hooked, Lessons of the Heart From a Little Horse in Cabo ”.

Christie worked in the legal field in San Diego for many years where she harnessed her appreciation for writing by poring over lengthy legal briefs. Her lifelong love and relationship with animals combined with her interest in writing provided her a foundation to complete this book. The motivation for the book stems from her love and relationship with her rescue horse, Milagro.

Christie’s strong connection with animals, blended with her entrepreneurial spirit, allowed her to create and patent a specialty dog bed. She also developed and marketed a line of aromatherapy products for dogs. While living abroad Christie opened Cabo Dog Boutique in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Today Christie lives in Park City, Utah with her husband Keith, and their rescue pets Mancha and Milagro.
